'Meet your neighbours' event

Wednesday 6th February saw the very first 'meet your neighbours' event at the Innovation Centre.

Innovation Centre manager Andrea Fullard, hosted a two hour event which was organised for occupiers of the building to introduce themselves to their neighbours over lunch in the marketing suite, discover the nature of the various technology-based businesses and even explore the possibility of working together in the future.

Andrea said: "The event was a huge success. More than 50 people attended and the atmosphere in the room was very friendly indeed. Many occupiers commented on how they have made valuable contacts at the event, discovering many similarities in their reasons for being located here and sharing common business goals for the future. The lunch has certainly helped in my aim of creating a strong community feel here at the Innovation Centre and further 'meet your neighbours' events will be planned for the future."
