First birthday celebrations

A special celebration was held at the marketing suite on 4 June to mark one year since the Innovation Centre was officially opened.

The event was attended by more than 100 of the occupiers who were treated to a champagne lunch and birthday cake.

Innovation Centre manager Andrea Fullard said: "This first anniversary is a very important milestone. The team here felt it appropriate to toast a hugely successful year with the occupiers, who have helped to quickly establish the Innovation Centre as one of the most important hubs for technologically minded business anywhere in the region."
