Planning exhibitions

Planning exhibition attendees

June 2008

St Modwen would like to thank the hundreds of people who took the time to attend one of the recent public exhibitions on the future plans for Longbridge, and to those who gave their feedback on the plans either at the exhibition, online or by post.

We are grateful for your continued interest and value your input. The team behind the project is now considering your responses to the plans.

The planning exhibitions were held on:

  • Thursday 19 June from 5pm to 8pm: The Austin Sports and Social Club, 30 Tessall Lane
  • Saturday 21 June from 9am to 12pm: Cofton Hackett Village Hall, Barnt Green Road

Developer St Modwen and joint landowner Advantage West Midlands have submitted four planning applications for Longbridge. This is a major step towards transforming Longbridge into a vibrant new community and to creating a secure and positive future for local people.

The planning applications have been submitted to Birmingham City Council and Bromsgrove District Council. They respond to the Longbridge Area Action Plan (LAAP), which was submitted to the Government in March 2008. The exhibition provided the opportunity to look at the plans for the area.
