Wot A Racket - Birmingham Rackets Festival

Birmingham Rackets Festival comes to Longbridge

Wot a Racket was launched for the first time in the summer of 2016. This year the festival is back!

Wot a Racket provides local residents to try their hand at FREE informal Tennis, Badminton, Table Tennis and included this year, Padel Tennis.

It involves smaller adapted versions of each sport and are open to everyone, regardless of age or previous playing ability, with the emphasis being on having fun, being active and trying something new.

We will be encouraging the public to play beyond the pop up activity by giving away FREE rackets and bats to those people that are Birmingham residents. In order to receive a racket or bat, you must attend one of the sessions where you can collect a token and trade it in at any other FREE activity taking place within the parks, wellbeing centres and around the city.

Rackets Festival sessions will take place at Longbridge town centre on

Sunday 23rd July 10am - 12pm

Thursday 24th Aug 2pm - 4pm

Friday 1st September 11am - 1pm
