The £1 billion regeneration of Longbridge has created a dynamic new business community which is home to nearly 100 businesses. Over £300 million has been invested since the site’s inception in 2007 and 3,700 jobs created across a variety of sectors– including construction teams working on the redevelopment and across IT, manufacturing, education, retail and service businesses.

Longbridge is home to a number of high quality employment and educational establishments; we have already delivered a £66 million, state of the art campus for Bournville College providing high-quality education and qualifications to young people and adults, as well as a 30,000 sq ft Construction Centre specialising in a contemporary, hands-on educational environment for students studying construction disciplines. ‘The Factory’ is a flagship youth centre delivered in 2013 offering a range of innovative, creative and socially inclusive extra-curricular activities, qualifications and services for people aged 13 -19.
